Easter eggs are little delightful surprises that are intentional hidden jokes, message, or secret features within - and usually incorporated when designers have the leeway and freedom to include details that may or may not be related to the respective set. One of the more interesting sets that has a few interesting gems is the Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters. Let's take a look at a few findings that are pretty much known.

Annouced: October 2015
Released for Sale: January 2016
1. Poster of Manhattan marking the location of the actual Firehouse Building
The Pin shown is the exact location of the actual building of the Firehouse in New York
Here's a comparison with the location on Google Maps. Not perfect, but close enough.
2. Dart Game Chart
In this video, Paul admits that the M and P scores belong to the duo and their game of darts.
3. Arcade Machine featuring Stay Puft Marshmellow Man
The marshmellow man is an iconic character in the movie and it being missing from this huge set in any form is quite dissapointing. The designers decided to include a refernece with the features the Stay Puft Marshmellow man in splash screen of Pixel-Art Arccade game.
4. Pin Board
This is perhaps the most significant and meaningful easter egg. We see two scribbling, one that says M.B which is you guessed it, the designer Marcos Bessa. The other one says R.I.P H.R. It's basically saying Rest In Peace, Harold Ramis.
Harold Ramis not only played Egon Spengler in the movie but wrote the script for Ghostbusters I and II. The LEGO Firehouse Headquarters set was likely in design phase in 2014 when news of his passing probably influenced the designers to include the tribute.
There you have it! Did we miss anything? Sometimes what constitues an easter egg is arguable, but that's the fun of it all! Drop us a note if you find something interesting that we missed! Reach us at Facebook or Twitter!
